Job Summary

The Research Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Heart Institute's research initiatives at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Research Director, Research Manager, and Research Operations Associate.
  • Assists with budgetary and fiscal management of research programs.
  • Coordinates divisional academic activities, including seminars, lectures, and meetings.
  • Provides assistance with time and effort reporting, as well as liaison services to internal departments and external organizations.
  • Supports the operational and administrative activities of the research area.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Excellent language skills and understanding of grants, manuscript, and abstract guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and writing ability, as well as communication, computer, organization, personnel, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks requiring attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to perform moderate lifting.
  • Able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Able to read papers and online documents.
  • Able to operate standard office equipment.
  • Able to exercise physical ability and perspective acuity to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
