The Miami, FL office of Lewis Brisbois, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled attorney to enhance its Labor & Employment Practice.
The ideal candidate should be licensed to practice in Florida and possess a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in employment law.
Experience in employment litigation is essential (preferably representing management), while experience in employment counseling or in-house legal roles is highly regarded.
This position presents an outstanding opportunity for attorneys who are proactive and enthusiastic about taking on a pivotal role in delivering legal services within a sophisticated practice, and who aspire to engage deeply in all facets of labor and employment law.
This role necessitates extensive interaction with clients, regulatory bodies, and opposing counsel.
Lewis Brisbois' Labor & Employment Practice serves clients nationwide in various aspects of employment litigation, advisory services, and training.
Our team of employment law professionals is distributed across multiple locations in the United States, providing clients with reliable counsel across numerous jurisdictions.
Our extensive reach and size enable us to offer consistent representation to our clients throughout the country.
Qualified candidates will be adept at drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings, preparing and arguing motions, as well as conducting and defending depositions.
Applicants must demonstrate strong writing and analytical capabilities, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
While we prefer candidates with experience in employment law, we are also open to considering talented attorneys who bring exceptional skills from any litigation background.
