Job Overview

HireQuest Direct is on the lookout for dependable Event Service Specialists to become part of our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various Event Venues in the Nashville area. Responsibilities include preparing, presenting, and serving food and beverages according to daily operational needs. The ideal candidate should possess experience, a friendly demeanor, and a collaborative spirit.

Note: All roles are temporary and contingent upon large events in the vicinity. Additional positions may also be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Preparation: Assist in the arrangement of tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment for events.
  • Service Delivery: Provide food and beverage service to guests promptly and professionally, adhering to established service standards.
  • Guest Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, respond to inquiries, and ensure exceptional service throughout the event.
  • Post-Event Cleanup: Efficiently clear and clean tables and surrounding areas after events, ensuring all items are properly stored and sanitized.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with fellow servers and event staff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Health Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food and beverage handling procedures.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Applicants must successfully complete a background check.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Must be capable of standing, lifting, and carrying heavy trays and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of an ABC Card is advantageous.

Compensation: $16-19/hr

Shift Availability: Varies, primarily second shift.
