MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Beebe Physician Network, Inc. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review consultation requests and consult with radiologists or referring physicians as necessary
- Pleasantly greet patients, confirm their identification, and introduce yourself
- Explain examination procedures to patients and their families
- Prepare and administer contrast media for injection and review pertinent forms
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols
- Maintain a daily activities log and ensure proper storage and ordering of supplies
- Monitor and report supplies in shortage and special order items
- Perform visual preventive safety inspections and conduct quality assurance tests on equipment
- Evaluate recorded images for technical quality and demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper positioning
- Recognize emergency situations, initiate code procedures, and administer first aid or CPR as needed
- Complete follow-up documentation, including contrast reaction forms and safety tracking tools
- Coordinate scheduling with other departments to ensure patient flow
- Assist scheduling clerks with non-routine exam decisions and order exams, track patient data, and scan documents
To be successful in this role, you will need to be competent in performing MRI procedures, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
