MRI Technologist

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review consultation requests and consult with radiologists or referring physicians as necessary
- Pleasantly greet patients, confirm their identification, and introduce yourself
- Explain examination procedures to patients and their families
- Prepare and administer contrast media for injection
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols
- Maintain a daily activities log and ensure proper storage and ordering of supplies
- Monitor and report supplies in shortage and special order items
- Perform visual preventive safety inspections and conduct quality assurance tests on equipment
- Evaluate recorded images for technical quality and demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper positioning
- Recognize emergency situations, initiate code procedures, and administer first aid or CPR as needed
- Complete follow-up documentation, including contrast reaction forms and extravasations reports
- Coordinate scheduling with other departments to ensure patient flow
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Advanced registry in MRI required
- Ability to lift patients up to 50lbs
- Basic Life Saving certification
