Duties of the Controller:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Drive company financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Undertake financial analysis to discern trends, variances, and areas of improvement, and perform modeling of potential capex purchases.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Work closely with external auditors during annual audits and manage our banking relationships.

Requirements for the Controller:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years' accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing industry experience and job costing.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with in-house accounting systems, with experience with SQL and reporting tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports a plus.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge.
