Position Summary: We are in search of an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction initiatives from the initial concept to final execution. This pivotal role requires managing the construction of new developments as well as the renovation of existing structures, ensuring that all projects adhere to our rigorous standards for quality, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of the construction process, from the preliminary planning stages to project completion.
- Lead and collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, builders, and subcontractors, to ensure effective teamwork and project success.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and financial budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions promptly.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Provide ongoing updates to stakeholders and prepare detailed reports on project status.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols throughout the duration of the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager or in a comparable role, with a proven track record of successfully completed residential and commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and human resource management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
- Valid Driver's License with current insurance.
