Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia or North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire.
