Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

Location: Joplin, MO or Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced controls and automation solutions for web handling applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement manufacturing systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Siemens drives and controls, including S120 systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process and instrumentation diagrams and controls narratives.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on controls and automation best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and lead the implementation of new technologies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in web handling applications and controls/drives programming.
  • Intermediate knowledge of web handling production processes and manufacturing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in PLC logic development and mechanical/electrical systems knowledge.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
