Material Handler I Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and timely without damage.
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
Benefits:
  • Temp to hire position with a starting pay rate of $17.00/hour during the temp orientation period.
  • After 85 days, hire on at $17.50/hour with a full benefits package.
