Job Title: Facilitated Telehealth Coordinator

At Author Health, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Facilitated Telehealth Coordinator. This role plays a crucial part in coordinating and supporting telehealth services for our patients, contributing to the advancement of healthcare technology and improving access to care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between providers and patients, including assisting patients with the use of technology to conduct virtual visits with other providers on the team.
  • Assess the environment for safety concerns or potential hazards and communicate with the patient care team regarding any patient questions and needs.
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on how to use telehealth technology effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of telehealth appointments and patient data.
  • Collaborate with IT and technical support teams to resolve any telehealth system issues.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate healthcare staff on telehealth best practices and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Comfortable working with the senior population and those with behavioral health conditions.
  • Proven experience working in a healthcare setting or similar role.
  • Knowledge of telehealth technology and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proactive and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a driver's license and car.
  • Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English) and willingness to travel up to 100 miles round trip per day.
