Diversified Maintenance Systems, LLC is seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team of over 10,000 outstanding professionals. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and Clean Facilities: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all floor surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Operate Cleaning Equipment: Use power equipment and chemical cleaners to maintain floors and other surfaces, following established procedures to prevent damage.
- Restroom and Corridor Maintenance: Clean and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly, using a compactor for certain materials.
- Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
- Carpets and Upholstery: Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
- Supply Replenishment: Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies as needed.
- Follow Housekeeping Schedule: Adhere to established housekeeping schedules to ensure consistent cleaning and maintenance.
- Operate Heavy Cleaning Equipment: Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
- Age and Authorization: Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliability and Trustworthiness: Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness in your work and interactions with colleagues and customers.
- Physical Abilities: Possess the physical abilities to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Background Check: Pass a background check and any other required screenings.
- Previous Experience: Have some prior cleaning experience, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Part-Time Position: Work a part-time schedule, approximately 5 hours per day, Sunday to Friday.
- Hourly Rate: Earn $13.00 per hour.
