Senior Roadway Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Roadway Engineer to join our team in New England. As a key member of our Transportation group, you will play a lead role in highway design for large and small roadway and bridge projects throughout Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and MassDOT specifications and CAD Standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Develop and oversee design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
- Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos and Design Justification Workbooks
- Collaborate with team members, other disciplines and offices, and sub-consultants
- Perform field investigations and construction phase services support
- Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public
- Thorough understanding of project tasks within the overall project schedule, budgeting, and available resources
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on transportation design and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in engineering design with project management experience a plus
