The LPN I position entails delivering both direct and indirect nursing services in accordance with the standards set by the Georgia Board of Nursing and our organizational protocols, all under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician. This role is essential in educating patients, facilitating care coordination, and working collaboratively with the Health Care Team to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for consultations by reviewing medical history, gathering clinical data, taking vital signs, and documenting findings in medical records.
  • Address care gaps during patient interactions.
  • Set up examination rooms and equipment for procedures while assisting healthcare practitioners.
  • Initiate nursing interventions and record patient responses to treatments.
  • Participate in emergency response as directed.
  • Educate patients and supply preparatory materials for diagnostic tests.
  • Schedule patient appointments as instructed.
  • Monitor and respond to messages related to patient or provider inquiries.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Involve patients, families, and caregivers in the care coordination process.
  • Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide orientation and training for new staff members.
  • Oversee unlicensed personnel in the delivery of patient care.
  • May undertake additional assigned responsibilities.

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program (LPN/LVN)

License, Certification, Registration

  • Valid Practical Nurse License (Georgia) required
  • Basic Life Support certification required

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of a Customer Service Assessment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least six (6) months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude for customer service
