Position Summary:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate and identify speech, language, and communication challenges in students.
  • Therapeutic Planning: Design and execute personalized therapy strategies tailored to meet each student's unique requirements.
  • Therapy Delivery: Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering student development.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with educators, families, and school personnel to promote holistic student growth.
  • Progress Monitoring: Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • IEP Participation: Actively participate in Individualized Education Program meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress assessments.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: A valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certification: ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly valued.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
