The Visual Communications Specialist is responsible for overseeing the design and execution of marketing initiatives by performing the following tasks either independently or with administrative assistance.
Under the guidance of the Marketing Director, implement marketing strategies to meet established goals related to revenue, profitability, and market presence.
Provide direction for branding and supervise the execution of promotional efforts across various platforms including print, digital media, trade shows, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
Coordinate the creation and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing efforts.Collaborate with the Marketing Director to implement online marketing strategies.
Assist in expanding the customer database for effective marketing initiatives.
Adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing priorities; modify approach or methods to best suit the situation.
Develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate updates and progress; ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion; manage project team activities.
Provide analysis and regular reports on the effectiveness and ROI of marketing programs.
Help establish and maintain a consistent corporate image across product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Generate innovative solutions; translate concepts and information into visual representations; utilize feedback to refine designs; apply design principles effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular on-site attendance.
Work Environment:
Ability to sit frequently and for extended periods.
Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
Some travel may be necessary.
The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Ability to manage frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Ability to solve practical problems and address a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
Capable of interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
A four-year college or university degree; or two to four years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and contact management systems.
Strong project management capabilities.
Dependable, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
