Della Infotech is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Consultant to join our team. As a Laboratory Consultant, you will play a critical role in advising on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), best practices, and other workflow factors to inform strategy development and decision making. You will provide guidance and expert advice regarding appropriate laboratory procedures, develop procedures independently for implementing new or modifying existing laboratory programs and activities, and collaborate with quality coordinators, safety officer, and laboratory leadership to standardize and optimize quality assurance and safety processes of both Environmental and Clinical Divisions. Additionally, you will provide support as needed to accreditation efforts within the testing sections, perform laboratory quality, safety, and/or training audits as necessary, and assess the value, importance, and quality of said audits. You will also remain current in technical and regulatory information and departmental procedures and policies and apply new knowledge appropriately. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in biology, lifesciences, medical laboratory science, or other related laboratory fields, including at least 32 credit hours in general chemistry, organic chemistry, quantitative analysis, instrumental analysis, and physical chemistry. Two years of full-time professional work in the Laboratory field, with experience in laboratory operations, safety, quality, and/or testing is preferred. A Tennessee Laboratory Supervisor License is strongly preferred. The selected candidate will be required to complete background verifications, including a TN Standard Background Check, Baseline background check, Global Monitor Check, US Criminal Record Locator w/ Alias, Federal Criminal History (7 years), County Criminal History (7 years), National Sex Offender Registry, and Break Out Invoice By Classification.
