Job Overview

As a key member of the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Translational Science Project Coordinator to join our team in Boston. This is a hybrid position that combines work in our office with remote collaboration.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary lab and data coordinator within the Translational Science Team, providing critical support for laboratory projects and protocols.

  • Develop and implement specimen-related inventories, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate teleconferences for active projects, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders.
  • Provide informatics support for biospecimen banking and data harmonization, driving precision in our research endeavors.
  • Maintain electronic databases related to lab projects (Sample Tracking System) on an ongoing basis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor delinquency and coordinate specimen submissions for both active trials and retrospective studies, interacting directly with sites when necessary.
  • Liaise with tissue banks and biostatisticians to respond to queries from the NCI Navigator and Front Door system through our ECOG-ACRIN Navigator concierge.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, protocol development meetings, disease-specific committee meetings, and other relevant gatherings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working in an oncology clinical research setting.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and related systems applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) is a plus.
  • Project management experience is also a plus.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
