Job Overview

Astor Services is seeking a dedicated Youth Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential behavioral services for youth and young adults in community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver behavioral services to clients aged 0-21 in various community settings, ensuring sessions are conducted in the primary language of the client or caregiver as needed.
  • Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and social skills to promote independence and reduce the risk of requiring higher-level care.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other service providers to identify strengths and develop behavior management plans, stabilizing clients within their home, school, and community environments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service or Educational Field with a minimum of 2 years' experience in children's mental health, addiction, foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice, or a related field.
  • Fluency (conversational and written) in the required language based on program need.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide services in diverse settings, including after-school hours.
  • Capacity to travel to schools, homes, and community-based locations.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and growth.
