Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

At E-State Management, LLC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property management department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of and adhere to organization/project policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Hire, train, motivate, supervise, and terminate all on-site staff to achieve operational goals assigned properly.
  • Conduct on-going training with office staff, including leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and any other type of training that may be needed on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for office opening on schedule, condition of office and model apartments, and maintaining records on all aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Maintain positive customer service attitude, interview new prospective tenants, and give tours of property.
  • Process applications, conduct credit checks, and call references.
  • Makes periodic inspections with residents of move-in/move-out, and initiates and implements policies/procedures to maintain resident communications.
  • Physically walk and inspect property on a regular basis, and update board indicating vacancy status on a daily basis.
  • Distribute and collect leases, and ensure that all required legal documents are signed.
  • Monitors and schedules all maintenance activities, and maintains awareness of market/industry conditions and trends via trade publications, professional organizations, etc.
  • Creates and distributes marketing materials for the property management company.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, and possesses knowledge of the real estate industry, including market trends, prices, and state and federal housing regulations.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrates familiarity with financial management software used to balance budget and track payments.
  • Must be detail-oriented with ability to manage time efficiently, and exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
  • Works well with a team, interacts and engages in a friendly manner with potential and current tenants, and demonstrates ability to think creatively in order to develop new marketing and recruiting techniques.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management preferred, and real estate, property management, or customer service experience required.
  • Expected to complete necessary certifications.
