Job Responsibilities:
- Serve meals and snacks to children aged infant to six years in a group setting.
- Coordinate meal service and assist with basic food preparation based on the provided menu.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and manage laundry duties.
- Prepare food as needed in the absence of the Kitchen Coordinator.
- Adhere to health regulations set by local health authorities.
- Ensure the serving area is properly cleaned and sanitized after each meal.
- Manage laundry tasks including sorting and washing linens and clothing as per schedule.
- Ensure children with dietary restrictions receive appropriate meals.
- Assist with dishwashing and maintaining organization in storage areas.
- Complete daily checklists and maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and education as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred; experience in childcare is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential.
Certifications: Infant and Child CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained during employment, with renewal every two years.
