About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machining Operations Specialist to oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control in our manufacturing facility.

Job Summary:

  • Plans machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Coordinates plant operations and activities to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues in a timely fashion to minimize downtime.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and materials as needed.
  • Develops innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
  • Conducts routine preventive maintenance on equipment and logs readings for future reference.

Responsibilities:

Machining Operations
  • Studies work orders and blueprints to plan machining operations.
  • Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to ensure accurate machining.
  • Coordinates with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Plant Operations
  • Oversees daily plant operations and activities.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues in a timely fashion.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and materials as needed.
Quality Control
  • Evaluates machined parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Identifies and addresses any quality control issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in plant operations or related fields.
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
