CT Technologist Senior Level

Sutter Health is in search of a CT Technologist Level III to join our dedicated team.
Position OverviewThis role involves performing both routine and advanced computerized tomography procedures to generate high-quality images for medical professionals involved in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patients. The technologist will work autonomously, applying sound judgment and refined clinical skills to ensure safe and accurate imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialized CT examinations while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to gain trust and cooperation.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
- May assist in training and orienting new staff members.
Education:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
Certifications:
- California CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in CT technology.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles and procedures.
- Ability to perform routine CT examinations and comprehend human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse patient populations.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to healthcare settings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and building professional relationships.
This position offers a Part-Time schedule with varied shifts and rotating weekend requirements.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation is competitive, with a pay range of $53.01 to $66.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates will also receive a comprehensive benefits package.
