Position Overview
SAIC is currently seeking a Personnel Management Specialist with a robust background in military personnel administration to contribute to the U.S. Space Forces' mission of enhancing warfighter capabilities through the Space Systems Command's Space Domain Awareness initiatives. This role is integral to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive personnel management assistance across various employee classifications, including Military and Government Civilian.
• Document and oversee Government procedures for multiple personnel management activities at the Division level, ensuring timely execution of personnel actions.
• Maintain awareness among leadership regarding the application of relevant standards, instructions, and policies concerning personnel actions.
• Provide support for Executive Assistant responsibilities as required.
• Collaborate with Government entities to establish effective workflows and communication channels for personnel-related issues.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree accompanied by 9+ years of pertinent experience in personnel management within the Department of Defense (4 additional years of experience may substitute for the degree).
• An in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI) is required, with adjudication for SCI eligibility and enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
• Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, along with consent to a Polygraph examination.
Preferred Skills:
• A Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., management, human resources, etc.).
• Professional certifications such as PMI PMP.
• Experience with classified information systems (e.g., SIPRnet, JWICS, etc.).
Compensation: Target salary range is $120,001 - $160,000, reflecting the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; however, customer site vaccination requirements must be adhered to when work is conducted at a customer site.
