As a Sales Associate at Chico's, you will be responsible for promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers
  • Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards
  • Maintaining standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management
  • Participating in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance
Customer Experience

You will be responsible for modeling and promoting the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience. This includes:

  • Ensuring prompt resolution of customer concerns
  • Ensuring a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices, and other applicable operations
  • Reinforcing buying decisions at the checkout and achieving add-on goals, including gift card sales
Operational Excellence

You will support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant, as well as assist with locate fulfillment and visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, and other duties as directed.

Teamwork and Growth

You will promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and seek personal developmental opportunities and readily solicit feedback.

This position may be found in multiple brands, and some duties may vary from brand to brand. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.

Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
