About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Speech Therapist to join our team at American Senior Communities.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with patients of all ages, particularly seniors. As a Senior Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing individualized speech therapy plans, conducting assessments, and providing education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement speech therapy plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement and set realistic goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions and group sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as an SLP in the state of practice.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
