Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our home health provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the provider
  • Supervise and ensure high-quality patient care services throughout the episode of care
  • Oversee referral coordination, patient needs assessment, and plan of care development and implementation
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and other clinicians involved in care
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and payer source criteria
  • Supervise agency staff worker's performance and monitor and assess employee performance regularly
  • Operate within the staffing model and maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Lead the QAPI Team and oversee annual Performance Improvement Projects and strategic agency planning
  • Conduct monthly meetings with the medical director and approve medical director invoices
  • Drive operational metrics and implement action plans to meet company goals
  • Act as Emergency Coordinator during emergencies and ensure appropriate plan execution
  • Represent the agency with external customers and complete timely and thorough investigations of concerns voiced by patients, caregivers, and referral sources
Qualifications
  • Registered nurse with at least 1 year supervisory or administrative experience in a home healthcare or a related field
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
