Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. This includes ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, preparing and positioning patients for scans, and operating and maintaining CT equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
  • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
