Quality Process Improvement Specialist Job Opportunity

About the Role:

Tucson Medical Center seeks a skilled Quality Process Improvement Specialist to join its team. This key position will drive organizational transformation by developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring patient safety, and promoting evidence-based practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create effective written and verbal communications to engage leaders and staff in quality improvement efforts.
  • Assist with process improvement projects using Lean and quality improvement tools, and methodology.
  • Develop and deliver presentations that communicate quality improvement issues and goals.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, leaders, and employees at all levels.
  • Coach, mentor, teach, and develop staff members in the use and application of quality and process improvement tools.
  • Facilitate cross-functional work groups to apply the quality improvement management system.
  • Co-facilitate projects as assigned within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Adhere to TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication, as well as organizational and department-specific safety and confidentiality policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Nursing, Communications, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare field, preferably with process improvement principles.

Salary Estimate:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
