We are currently looking for a dedicated co-teacher to support our preschool program, operating Monday through Thursday from 8:45 AM to 11:00 AM. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in early childhood education and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to ensure the well-being of the children.
  • Implement the provided curriculum and adhere to the daily schedule.

Essential Skills:

  • Exhibit patience and empathy when interacting with young children.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork abilities.
  • Possess strong verbal communication skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred experience in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 5 – 10 hours per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday, aligned with the local school district calendar.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year working with children (preferred).
  • 1 year of preschool experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of daycare experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of behavior management experience (preferred).

Licensure/Certification:

  • Teaching certification is preferred.

Work Environment: In-person
