Position: Senior Financial Accountant

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough monthly evaluations and reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts,
  • Execute monthly supplier bank reconciliations,
  • Support the month-end financial reporting process and analysis,
  • Address quarterly corporate reporting requirements, ad hoc division reporting, and maintain records,
  • Manage payment processing and bill-back, along with analysis and tracking of all incentive and sales commission initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Complete monthly reconciliations for approximately 40+ General Ledger accounts.
  • Review monthly BSG reconciliations for items requiring further examination.
  • Analyze sales expense reports against budgetary expectations and compile/distribute financial statements or various financial reports on a monthly basis.
  • Assess monthly General Ledger expenses compared to the previous year to identify fluctuations for the Executive team. Reconcile and review gross profit general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for Executive team expenses.
  • Generate monthly Profit and Loss statements for the Juice Department and prepare monthly Management & Executive reports for distribution.
  • Analyze Bonus/Incentive Payments against Bill-back and accruals in the General Ledger. Review and reconcile bank deposit cash postings.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as required.
  • Monitor all incentive program payments/submissions to ensure accuracy and prevent duplication. Process incentives for disbursement and submit to payroll for payment. Summarize incentive payouts for each team member.
  • Process bill-backs to suppliers related to incentive programs.
  • Prepare analytical reports as necessary for management. Process monthly revenue, PST, and commission disbursements.
  • REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager. Supervision: None. Department: Accounting.
