Key Responsibilities- Operate a Class A CDL Hazmat truck to transport hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste to designated disposal sites.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste, adhering to weight limits and utilizing company equipment efficiently.
- Properly placard vehicles to meet company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Comply with company policies, Health & Safety procedures, Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazardous Materials/Waste (HAZMAT), and RCRA requirements.
- Adhere to assigned milk run schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Communicate regularly with Coordinators regarding daily time and demurrage.
- Class A CDL required.
- Experience operating van trailer and tanker.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or willing to obtain.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- 15% to 30% overnight travel.
