Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including those requiring stepdown and intermediate levels of care.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with a success coach to establish and revise priorities for patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
- Document patient care in medical records.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods, have corrected vision and hearing, and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids is also a requirement of this role.
Personal Protective EquipmentYou will be required to follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as needed for procedures.
