Cleveland Clinic's H80 General Medicine/Telemetry unit is seeking a dedicated and compassionate New Grad RN to join our team. As a member of our unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including patients with respiratory, gastrointestinal, dialysis, diabetes, and other conditions.
Our unit is known for its fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. As a New Grad RN, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
We are committed to providing our caregivers with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our residency core curriculum is designed to meet the individual learning needs of our new graduates, and our success coaches will provide guidance and support throughout your transition to practice.
As a caregiver in this position, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, establishing and revising priorities for patient care, and responding to data indicating risk to patients' health. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a residency core curriculum and receive ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
This position requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids is also a requirement of this position.
Personal Protective EquipmentYou will be required to follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
