Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operator Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the treatment of wastewater, ensuring the safety and health of the environment, and maintaining the efficiency of our wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Management: Oversee the treatment of wastewater, including the mixing of chemicals and monitoring of tank levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment and heavy machinery, including forklift trucks and skid steers.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all wastewater treatment processes meet regulatory standards and company quality expectations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train plant operators to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure that all safety and compliance rules and regulations are followed, and that all necessary documentation is maintained.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One year of experience as a plant operator, with a focus on water pumps and plant machinery.
- Skills: Ability to learn procedures related to the safe handling of materials, good eye-hand coordination, and organizational ability.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions, with strong odors and smells.
