Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Clinical Resource Nurse - Plastics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Provide education and training to staff members on clinical procedures and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research studies and participate in data collection and analysis.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in plastics surgery.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of operating room procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
