Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Perform routine housekeeping activities, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Restock supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap, as needed.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and mops, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Sufficient physical strength and stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time evening shift position, working 25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

The Environmental Service Worker will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including gloves and safety glasses, to ensure a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo on-the-job training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the duties of the role.
