Critical Care Nurse

St Lukes Boise Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the ICU department.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with experience in managing complex patients with conditions such as CABG, CVA, hemorrhages, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, and septic shock.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with complex medical conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- 2 years of ICU experience
- Experience in similar size or larger ICU and hospital
- Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
- Ability to titrate drips and manage complex patient care
12-hour shifts, 7-7:30, with every other weekend and holiday requirements
Unit Information:Our ICU unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including vents, BiPAP, and CPAP. We have a strong team of RTs and nurses who work together to provide exceptional patient care.
