Multimodality Imaging Specialist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team of imaging professionals. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a focus on advanced modalities such as CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion.
- Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients, ensuring correct exams are performed and establishing rapport.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including requisitions, charts, and medical imaging records.
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
- Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure by the State of Texas Medical Board, unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound.
- Certification in two imaging modalities, with 50% of work time spent in the second modality.
