Multimodal Imaging Specialist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Multimodal Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a focus on advanced modalities such as CT, MR, and IR.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality multimodal imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion.
- Utilize effective communication skills to instruct and reassure patients, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and immobilization.
- Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation safety guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, reporting any issues to management.
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure in the State of Texas.
- Registration in two imaging modalities, with 50% of work time spent in the second modality.
