Security Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at ASM Global's Toyota Arena. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our arena patrons, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel during events and non-event periods.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the arena and its patrons.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including event management and operations, to ensure a seamless and secure event experience.
  • Provide training and guidance to security personnel on security procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and emergencies, including crowd control and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security and risk management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role, with a focus on event security and crowd management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing security operations and responding to security incidents.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including security personnel, event staff, and law enforcement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current California-issued guard card.
  • Experience with security software and technology, including access control systems and surveillance cameras.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols, including first aid and CPR.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
