Job Summary and Qualifications
Registered Nurses play a crucial role in providing and coordinating patient care.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver both physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and reassessments
- Developing personalized care plans
- Administering medications
- Documenting patient information
- Educating patients and families
- Maintaining equipment and communicating patient needs.
In this role, you will:
- Perform patient rounding to enhance satisfaction and quality standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment range, and care appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.
- Promote customer service initiatives.
- Utilize nursing processes for individualized patient care.
- Exhibit proficiency in performing technical skills and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current licensure by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or another acceptable Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Commitment to pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within one year of hire.
