Overview:
Role Objective
At Trinity Health, the Acute Care Unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for adult patients facing a range of medical conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, ailments affecting the pulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, circulatory, and neurological systems, as well as managing infectious diseases, skin disorders, and autoimmune conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in developing and overseeing nursing care strategies while actively participating in assessing the ongoing and future healthcare requirements of patients.
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Completion of an accredited nursing program from a recognized college or university.
Preference for candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
BSN degree is highly preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or cardiac telemetry settings is preferred.
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Stroke Certification are preferred.
