Position Overview:
INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, recognized as Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist. This role involves collaborating with our Interventional Radiology team to deliver outstanding care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cardiovascular/Interventional Technologist, you will perform vascular procedures with a high degree of technical proficiency, exercising independent judgment to achieve optimal diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing a variety of specialized cardiac, vascular, or interventional procedures.
  • Assuming accountability for interpreting diagnostic and interventional procedures conducted in the Heart Cath Lab.
  • Maintaining accurate data entry into the CCSS database.
  • Transporting patients and adhering to universal precautions.
  • Administering contrast materials as per physician orders and assisting physicians as necessary.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or current licensure from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Successful completion of an Allied Health post-secondary education program related to patient care or equivalent experience.
  • Current CPR certification and ACLS certification (cath lab only) within the specified timeframe.
  • Cardiovascular/Interventional experience is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve standing for extended periods, lifting patients of various weights, and utilizing computer systems. The position requires full range of motion in all extremities and the ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively.
