Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at OU Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • One year of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or similar critical care setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
