Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, scalable, and adaptable code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop configurable software services that facilitate integration with enterprise-level services.
  • Identify and address technical challenges in collaboration with team members across various applications.
  • Adhere to secure development practices and design patterns.
  • Create or update design and systems documentation for newly developed or modified services.
  • Develop process and data flow diagrams to capture data movement.
  • Cross-train team members to ensure comprehensive knowledge coverage within the team.
  • Analyze and convert business requirements into technical designs.
  • Resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Collaborate and communicate with project teams and business stakeholders as necessary.
  • Support functional and performance testing efforts.
  • Work closely with the technical delivery lead on project activities.
  • Ensure that assigned tasks are completed within project timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 7+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5+ years in web service development and integration.

Strong experience in the Automotive OEM sector.

Comprehensive understanding of enterprise services and microservices architecture.

Proficient in designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining technical assets within a SOA environment, including web services and integration.

Solid grasp of Enterprise Service Bus concepts.

Experience with DevOps practices in a cloud environment is a plus.

Familiarity with waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies.

Technical Skills:

Proven experience in IBM MDM Java (BOBJ) development.

Experience configuring the Websphere development environment.

Knowledge of Customer, Customer/Vehicle Relationship, Vehicle, and Employee domains, along with custom extensions.

Experience with Oracle/SQL and Cloudera Data Lake.

Informatica experience is a plus.
