Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Business Analyst to join our Consumer Banking team. As a key member of our anti-money laundering (AML) compliance program, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to detect and prevent financial crimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced quantitative methods to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and insights that inform AML risk assessments.
- Maintain and enhance existing analytical capabilities to ensure they remain effective in detecting emerging risks and evolving client behavior.
- Develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and technology teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that support AML compliance programs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in applied data science, quantitative research, or a related field, including projects that demonstrate expertise in AML risk assessment.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SAS, SQL, or other relevant tools.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-consequence environment, with a strong understanding of data governance and quality assurance principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Proven track record of innovation and thought leadership in AML risk assessment, with a focus on data-driven insights and predictive modeling.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We Offer
At Bank of America, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement. Our comprehensive compensation package includes:
