Job Description

As a Self-Employment Traveling Field Engineer with LightPath Communications, you will have the opportunity to work independently, exploring the USA while building your own business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong observation, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively address challenges in the field.
  • Stay up-to-date with new software and technologies to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Perform outdoor work, including lifting up to 30lbs unassisted, and walking up to 5 miles per day.
  • Ensure a valid driver's license and a good driving record, as well as a reliable vehicle, preferably a small SUV or pickup truck.
  • Pass a criminal background and drug screen to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate high levels of responsibility and self-motivation to excel in this role.
  • Must be a fully legal US Citizen.
  • Prior experience in telecom engineering, field surveying, or related work is not required but is a plus.
  • Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
