We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities- Apply the art and science of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of CT scanning equipment.
- Assure the quality of all images and confirm that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct.
- Perform computed tomography procedures, including radiation exposures and intravenous injections.
- Properly position patients on CT scanning cradles and immobilize them with appropriate devices.
- Assist the radiologist with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other medical interventions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)
- Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
- Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred)
- State Licensure (preferred)
- Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)
- 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (preferred)
As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Bon Secours, you will work in a fast-paced environment with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. You may be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse, as well as hazardous substances or body fluids. You will be required to use personal protective equipment and devices, and follow infection control policies.
