Role Overview:

As a key provider of eye care services, our optometrists play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. The responsibilities encompass more than just issuing prescriptions for corrective lenses; they include:

  • Managing ocular conditions such as corneal ulcers and uveitis
  • Evaluating and treating symptoms related to red eyes
  • Recognizing and diagnosing serious eye diseases, including diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma
  • Conducting essential procedures like the removal of foreign bodies from the eye
  • Identifying and addressing issues such as macular degeneration, retinal holes, and detachments

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an accredited institution.

Must be state licensed or eligible to obtain an Optometry license in the state of practice (New Graduates welcome).
